Siloam Springs Homecoming Parade

Friday afternoon, the Siloam Springs School District had a "Homecoming Parade" not far from our house. All except two of my students were picked up early Friday, so I decided to take Zayde and my two boys to the parade. We walked to the middle school where the parade was. It was a lot of fun; Zayde and the boys had a blast!!

The police escorts...

There were about 20 maids, and lots of neat cars!

This car wins the "cutest drivers" award. The driver and passenger of this car were about 90 years old; they were sooo cute. They were just creeping down the street, falling way behind the other cars. :)

Cheerleaders!!

Horses!!

Barnett's Drive-In was just across the street so, of course, we had to stop and get a treat!!

The boys enjoying their drinks, while Zayde eagerly looks on.

Thanks for the walk down memory lane, Amy! Gotta love Barnett's chocolate dipped ice cream cones! And I think that is one of my classmates "Bustang Sally" that the cheerleaders are riding! I miss Siloam!
